The Museum Garage is perhaps the most famous garage in the Design District. The architecture firm WORKac designed it in collaboration with 5 other international design firms. These garage feature a unique façade consisting of five distinct designs, each created by a different designer. The result is a stunning visual experience that draws inspiration from Miami’s vibrant art scene.
2. Paradise Plaza Garage | 151 NE 41st St, Miami, FL 33137
The Paradise Plaza Garage is located adjacent to the Institute of Contemporary Art Miami. The architecture firm Leong Leong designed it and it features a striking façade made up of perforated metal panels that create a striking visual effect. This garage includes a rooftop terrace, which offers stunning views of the city.
3. City View Garage | 3800 NE 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33137
The City View Garage is located at the northern end of the Design District and offers a unique perspective on the neighborhood. Architect Enrique Norten designed the garage and it features a façade made up of vertical fins that create a sense of movement and dynamism. On the rooftop terrace you’ll see sweeping views of Biscayne Bay.
4. Palm Court Garage | 140 NE 39th St, Miami, FL 33137
The Palm Court Garage is located adjacent to the Palm Court shopping center and features a façade made up of sculptural precast concrete panels. The firm Arquitectonica designed the garage and it features an interior illuminated by LED lights that change color based on the time of day.
